Shyan was a Hermann Bearcat and Blake was an a Owensville Dutchmen, each others hometown school rivals. Shyan saw Blake at a basketball game at a concession stand she was working for a school club event. So after the event she went on Facebook and searched some other friends to add Blake because lets be honest she thought he was super attractive. An apparently he thought the same of her because without really even knowing her he added her. The cutest and probably the funniest part of this whole story is he messages her and says, "Do I know you?" and Shyan replies with, "Nope, I just thought you were hot." so nonchalant. He proceeds with an, "Okay." So as time progresses they become friends, and stay friends for a year or so. Then on January 19 of 2015 Blake asked Shyan to be his girlfriend.
