On September 28, 2018, Shyan came home from work and unlike a normal evening Stitch their Jack Russel Terrier/Corgi Mix did not greet her at the door. Instead, Blake asks Shyan to come into the kitchen; as she turns the corner there Blake is on one knee with Stitch sitting ever so patiently with the beautiful engagement ring around his collar. Shyan, of course, said yes, while receiving tons of love from both Blake and Stitch.
